Features · Live video

    Stop opening Zoom.

Most creator platforms claim to support live video. What they actually mean is we integrate with Zoom. You still pay for Zoom. You still send Zoom links. Your students still install a separate app. The recording lives in your Zoom account, not your platform. The transcript needs a third tool. The follow-up happens by hand.

lernaura runs live video natively. Your coaching clients, your cohort students, your webinar attendees all join from inside lernaura. The recording, transcript, translation, and search index happen automatically. Your stack shrinks by at least one subscription and at least three browser tabs.

    What you can run

1:1 video. Coaching calls, sales conversations, advisory sessions, intake interviews. Native HD video, screen share, in-call chat, recording on by default with consent prompts.

Group video. Cohort sessions, mastermind calls, group office hours, small-group workshops. No participant cap — the call format adapts to the size (small-group interactive for masterminds, structured group format for larger cohorts). Breakout rooms, polls, hand-raise.

Webinars. One-to-many broadcasts with no attendee cap — the platform shifts to webinar mode automatically as audience size grows. Q&A queue, registration flow, automated reminders, post-event replay, attendance tracking.

All three formats run on the same underlying engine (Whereby, EU). You don't pick a different tool for each format — you pick the format you want and the platform configures it for the audience size.

    What runs in the background

Recording. On by default with consent prompts; off if you want. Recordings save to your lernaura library, not a third-party cloud you might forget the password to.

Transcription. Every recording transcribes automatically via Gladia (France, no training). Edit if you want, ship if you don't.

Translation. If your audience speaks more than one language, transcripts translate automatically into your target languages. Useful especially for webinars with a multinational audience.

Search indexing. Recordings and transcripts join your content catalog. A cohort student asking "what did you say about pricing in the live call last week?" gets the exact 60-second clip, not a 90-minute video to scrub through. More on AI search.

Follow-up drafting. The AI can draft a follow-up email summarising the call's key points, action items, and resources mentioned. You review and send. Especially useful for coaching workflows where every session needs a recap.

    What you don't need anymore

    • Zoom Pro (~$15/month) or Zoom Business (~$22/seat/month)
    • Calendly Pro (~$10/month) — scheduling is built in
    • Otter or Rev (~$10-30/month) — transcription is the AI content pipeline
    • A separate webinar tool like Demio, eWebinar or WebinarJam ($40-100+/month)

Most coaching creators we move over describe shutting down 2-4 separate subscriptions on day one.

How it integrates with the rest of lernaura

Live video isn't a standalone feature — it's the live layer of every product surface on lernaura.

Coaching: 1:1 video is the core of coaching workflows. Sessions tied to client portals, payment records, session notes.

Courses: Cohort-based courses include native group calls. Recordings join the course library automatically.

Communities: Members can join scheduled group calls within the community feed. Recordings become searchable community content.

Webinars as lead-gen: Run a webinar, attendees join your audience, the AI marketing layer can drive registrations from the same competitive landscape it's monitoring.

The integration is the point. A live call on lernaura isn't a separate event; it's content that joins your catalog, your search index, and your follow-up automation as soon as it ends.

    Privacy and compliance

EU-resident. Whereby's EU infrastructure handles the call substrate. Recordings, transcripts, translations all stay in the EU.

GDPR by default. DPA embedded in our Terms of Use, accepted at signup. Consent prompts on recording. Per-participant data deletion on request.

No training on your calls. Contractual no-training clauses with Gladia (transcription) and Mistral (search/follow-up drafting).

Per-call retention rules. Set how long recordings and transcripts are retained, per use case (coaching might be 12 months; a one-off webinar might be 30 days).

More on the European hosting and GDPR posture.

What it doesn't try to be

This is a creator-grade live video layer, not an internal-meetings replacement. Things we're not trying to match:

    • Persistent virtual conference rooms with always-on availability for internal team work
    • Telephone dial-in for non-video callers (browser-based join only)
    • Enterprise IT integrations like Active Directory room booking

If your use case is coaching, cohorts, group calls, webinars and creator workshops, the native layer covers it cleanly at any audience size.

    Pricing

Included in the 5% + €0.50. No per-minute video fee. No attendee cap by tier. No webinar add-on. See pricing.

    Make it. Keep it.

The whole back office of cross-border selling — tax, payments, collection, FX, disputes — handled by lernaura. One integration, one clean payout, EU-owned end to end. Creators: the free platform is waiting.
For sellers based in the EU/EEA, selling to buyers across Europe and North America — more countries on both sides soon.
