Merchant of record. lernaura is the seller on every transaction. Card and bank processing (the Stripe equivalent — included in the 5% + €0.50, not billed separately), EU VAT, US sales tax wherever it applies (collect, file, remit), refunds, chargebacks — all handled. The math worth flagging: Substack's 10% platform fee plus Stripe's 2.9% + €0.30 plus your VAT MOSS time comes to noticeably more than lernaura's 5% + €0.50 — which already includes the card processing and the VAT, with the software free on top.
Local-currency pricing. Subscribers see prices in their currency, purchasing-power-parity adjusted, automatically.

48-hour managed migration. We move your current content (posts, archive, paid post history) and your contact lists (free and paid subscribers) — everything you need to keep publishing and selling on lernaura from day one. Your existing URL can redirect. We don't migrate payment methods — paid subscribers re-attach their card on first login (deliberate safety boundary; cross-platform PCI migration is a category of risk nobody should accept). The re-onboarding moment is often a net positive for engagement: subscribers hear from you with a clear story about the move.

Honest read: Substack has a real discovery advantage — Notes is a meaningful traffic engine for newsletters that need cold growth. lernaura doesn't try to match it. The lernaura argument is everything else.
